Job summary

Fabick Cat is seeking a results-driven Sales Specialist in the Madison, WI area to build trusted customer relationships, understand fleet needs, and provide tailored parts, service, and support solutions. You will be the primary contact for Earthmoving customers and end users.

This role focuses on growing the business by expanding existing accounts, identifying opportunities, and delivering value through proactive account management, fleet reviews, and on-site support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent recent experience in machinery industry.
• 1-3 years outside sales experience, preferably with industry.
• 3-5 years sales or heavy equipment product support with earth-moving equipment.
• Strong communication, problem solving, and math/English skills.
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office.
• Willing to travel and work extended days.
• Lives preferably within the Madison territory.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships as a strategic product support advisor.
• Understand the customer’s fleet needs and tailor parts, service, and support solutions.
• Grow the business by expanding existing accounts and sourcing new opportunities.
• Drive customer value through proactive account management and fleet reviews.
• Become a trusted partner, anticipating needs and guiding decisions on maintenance and parts.
• Collaborate with branch staff to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Own customer issues end-to-end, coordinating internal resources.
• Prospect for new business and expand Fabick Cat’s presence in the territory.
• Stay connected to market and customer needs to identify opportunities.
• Represent the Fabick Cat brand in the field with professionalism.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
