Job summary

Bayer in Albany, GA is seeking a Primary Care Sales Consultant to implement sales strategies for Cardiorenal products across the Albany, GA territory. This role emphasizes building relationships with primary care providers, pharmacists, and hospital systems, and driving product utilization while adhering to Bayer's ethics and compliance standards.

The position covers Albany and surrounding cities with up to 50% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 10 years of relevant sales experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
• Proven track record of consistent high performance in a sales role or other relevant experience.
• Proven track record in developing long-standing relationships with customers.
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and foster an environment that promotes ethical behavior and compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
• Ability to comply with customer credentialing and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop professional relationships with primary care and other customers in the territory.
• Drive appropriate utilization of approved CV and menopause products; work with the Customer Squad to generate pull-through with payers and HCPs.
• Leverage knowledge of cardiovascular, diabetes, and menopause markets and competitors to manage opportunities and challenges.
• Provide input to sales leadership and regional account managers for strategic and tactical planning for territory and region.
• Develop and implement customer-specific business plans and communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Prioritize physician specialists coverage based on opportunity and potential.
• Understand customers’ product and business needs and comply with Bayer ethics and compliance standards.
• Anticipate barriers to goals and propose responsible solutions; handle objections and share skills regionally as needed.
