Job summary

Bayer seeks a Primary Care Sales Consultant to cover the Albany, GA territory. This residence-based role requires up to 50% travel within the territory and close collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive product utilization.

You will build relationships with primary care and pharmacy staff, develop local business plans, and work within Bayer’s ethical standards to meet sales objectives. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent sales experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 10 years of relevant sales experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
• Proven track record of consistent high performance in a sales role or other relevant experience.
• Proven track record in developing long-standing relationships with customers.
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and foster an environment that promotes ethical behavior and compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
• Ability to comply with customer credentialing and safety requirements (vaccinations, trainings).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop professional relationships with primary care and pharmacy staff within assigned customers.
• Drive appropriate utilization of approved CV and menopause products; generate pull-through within local payers and HCPs.
• Leverage knowledge of cardiovascular, diabetes, and menopause markets to manage opportunities.
• Provide insights to sales leadership and account managers for territory planning.
• Develop and implement customer-specific business plans and share insights with stakeholders.
• Prioritize time to ensure optimal coverage of physician specialists based on opportunity.
• Understand customers' product and business needs and adhere to Bayer ethics and compliance standards.
• Anticipate barriers to goals and propose solutions for success.
• Share expertise regionally through training when needed.
• Leverage emerging technologies to enhance performance and efficiency.
