Job summary

Bayer is seeking a Primary Care Sales Consultant to cover the Albany, GA territory, including nearby cities. The role focuses on implementing sales strategies for Cardiorenal products, building strong relationships with primary care providers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive US pharma outcomes.

Travel up to 50% within the territory is required; the position is residence based and you must be domiciled within the territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 10 years of relevant sales experience.
• Proven track record of high performance in a sales role.
• Proven track record in developing long-standing customer relationships.
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and compliance with policies and laws.
• Ability to comply with customer credentialing and safety requirements (vaccinations, trainings).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop professional relationships with primary care, pharmacy staff, within assigned customers.
• Drive utilization of approved CV and menopause products and generate pull-through with local payers and HCPs.
• Leverage knowledge of cardiovascular, diabetes and menopause marketplaces to manage opportunities and challenges.
• Provide input to sales leadership and account managers for territory planning.
• Develop and implement customer-specific business plans and share insights with stakeholders.
• Prioritize coverage of physician specialists based on opportunity and potential.
• Understand customer product and business needs and adhere to Bayer ethics and compliance standards.
• Anticipate barriers to goals and propose solutions; handle objections effectively.
• Share expertise regionally as needed and embrace emerging technologies to boost performance.
• Comply with pharmaceutical industry regulations and maintain high ethical standards.
