Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is seeking a Phlebotomist II for the Redding, CA territory, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with rotational weekends. This role requires a state phlebotomy license (CA not accepting NHA) and involves travel within the territory to PSCs or client sites to collect quality specimens and deliver professional service.

Qualifications

• Two years of phlebotomy experience required.
• Phlebotomy certification required in CA, NV, WA and LA.
• English required.

Responsibilities

• Perform specimen collections including venipuncture and capillary draws with minimal error.
• Obtain patient identification, label specimens correctly, and enter data accurately.
• Prepare specimens for transport and testing, label, centrifuge, split and store as needed.
• Research test/client information and verify orders using lab systems or directory of services.
