Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist II for the Mission Viejo, CA territory. The role involves travel to PSCs and client offices, performing venipuncture and capillary draws, and ensuring accurate specimen handling and patient identification. Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with rotational weekends.

Requires CA phlebotomy license and 2 years' experience. Pay ranges from $27.70 to $33.05 per hour, with potential annual bonus based on performance and organizational factors.

Qualifications

• Two years of phlebotomy experience required.
• English required.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and perform accurate, error-free work.

Responsibilities

• Specimen collection and processing including venipuncture and capillary draws, with handling of difficult draws.
• Obtain patient identification, verify orders, and perform data entry.
• Prepare specimens for transport and testing (labeling, centrifuging, storage).
• Respond to patient and client inquiries with professional service; maintain clean collection environments.
