Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist II for Fountain Valley, CA, with a 5:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule on weekdays and rotating weekends. A state phlebotomy license is required; NHA licenses are not accepted in CA.

Travel up to 75% to PSCs, Client Offices, or other sites to collect specimens, confirm patient data, and ensure quality results. Salary ranges from $25.80 to $27.65 per hour, with potential bonuses.

Qualifications

• Two years phlebotomy experience required.
• Phlebotomy certification required in CA, NV, WA, and LA.
• English required.

Responsibilities

• Perform specimen collections following procedures including venipuncture and capillary draws.
• Obtain patient identification and verify labeling; perform data entry as needed.
• Prepare specimens for transport and testing (labeling, centrifuging, storage).
• Communicate procedures clearly and maintain a clean collection environment.
• Travel within assigned territory to PSCs and client offices; ensure timely operations.
