Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a field-based pharmaceutical sales professional to cover an assigned territory in the United States. You will promote client products to physicians and healthcare professionals, develop a territory business plan, and drive prescribing decisions through strategic engagement.

You will build and maintain influential relationships, use a consultative selling approach, and tailor discussions to clinicians’ needs, while traveling as required, including overnights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 2 years' pharmaceutical, medical device, medical diagnostic sales or B2B sales experience.
• Valid driver's license and the ability to travel as necessary, including overnights and/or weekends.
• Must live within territory or within territory boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Proactively demonstrate and promote client's products to targeted and non-targeted physicians and healthcare professionals in territory and develop a territory business plan to influence prescribing decisions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with influential customers in the territory to enhance company and product loyalty and build the client's brands.
• Utilize defined selling model by obtaining maximum commitment from customers on every call to impact positive territory engagement results.
• Leverage understanding of clinical studies and managed care to consult, influence and maintain customer relationships. Customize discussions with physicians based on their needs.
