Job summary

Viatris is seeking a field-based Sales Professional in the United States to grow a defined healthcare territory. You will develop territory plans, conduct quality presentations to targeted customers, and drive quarterly goals while upholding ethics and regulatory requirements.

You will build strong relationships with physicians, pharmacists, and managers, travel as needed, and contribute to ongoing product knowledge and training to improve outcomes across Viatris portfolios.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 1+ years pharma/healthcare sales experience.
• Demonstrated business acumen and negotiation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to travel throughout Territory.

Responsibilities

• Develop business plan for assigned territory aligned with Viatris goals.
• Conduct quality sales presentations to targeted customers.
• Achieve quarterly sales goals within territory and follow regulations.
• Understand and demonstrate targeting principles.
• Develop pre-call planning strategy for key targets.
• Build positive relationships with peers, customers and managers.
• Ensure high levels of call and field productivity.
• Gather information to support territory prescribers strategies.
• Leverage samples and literature to raise physician awareness.
• Respond to customer requests promptly with accurate information.
• Pursue continuous learning and product knowledge training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
