Job summary

Stewart & Stevenson in Odessa, TX is seeking a Parts & Service Sales Representative to drive sales of parts and services across trucking, fleet, marine, construction, mining, oil and gas sectors in the assigned territory. You will build new accounts and manage existing ones, coordinate with engineering and purchasing, and ensure timely delivery while meeting sales goals.

This on-site role requires strong communication, relationship building, and the ability to present costed proposals and bid

Qualifications

• Strong communication and written skills.
• Ability to build relationships with customers and co-workers.
• Ability to generate and present proposals and bid specifications.
• Experience with Windows software and Oracle is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Generate new customer accounts and service existing ones; analyze customer needs and match products/services.
• Achieve sales goals and forecasts set by department and organization.
• Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, production and purchasing to ensure timely delivery.
• Negotiate proposals and sales/service contracts with customers.
• Develop business relationships in the petroleum industry to grow market share.
