Job summary

The Outside Parts & Service Representative at Dobbs Truck Group will develop and grow our aftermarket parts and service business across an assigned territory. You will promote parts, service repair, mobile service, and uptime programs while building strong customer relationships and driving revenue growth.

You will manage calls, visits, and digital outreach, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver seamless support. Travel within the territory is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in heavy-duty truck parts, service, or aftermarket sales.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel regularly within assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage an assigned territory to grow parts and service business with existing and prospective customers.
• Establish strong relationships with maintenance managers and purchasing contacts to position Dobbs Truck Group as a trusted partner.
• Maintain a structured sales call cadence through in-person visits, phone communication, and digital engagement.
• Maintain accurate account records, sales activities, and opportunity tracking within company systems.
• Continuously evaluate territory potential and identify new customer opportunities to expand market penetration.
• Demonstrate systematic selling: pre-call planning, needs identification, solution presentation, and closing.
