Job summary

Surface Materials is seeking a sales professional to own an established Hartford-based territory covering Connecticut, Western MA, Albany and Vermont. You’ll build relationships with architects, interior designers and commercial clients, presenting a portfolio of interior finish products and driving growth with uncapped commissions.

You will manage existing accounts, open new ones, conduct face-to-face calls, deliver product presentations, and work with design firms from specification to sale.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to manage a defined sales territory.
• Strong relationship-building with architects, designers and clients.
• Able to present solutions and close deals in a B2B environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow Hartford CT territory including CT, Western MA, Albany & Vermont.
• Open new accounts and maintain existing relationships throughout the sales cycle.
• Conduct face-to-face calls, product presentations and site visits.
• Maintain accurate customer and project records in CRM.
