Job summary

Ben E. Keith Company is seeking a Distributor Sales Representative – Outside in Tupelo, MS. The role focuses on selling food products and supplies to food service establishments to meet BEK sales goals, with travel within assigned territories to maintain relationships and performance.

The ideal candidate has a Marketing/food service sales background, strong MS Office skills, and a valid driver’s license with a clean record. BEK offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing preferred or equivalent sales experience.
• 3+ years of food service sales experience selling to restaurants.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to learn internal systems.
• Valid driver’s license with no more than 3 moving violations within last 3 years; no DUI convictions within the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customers’ places of business in assigned territories to ensure products are maintained.
• Compile a list of prospective customers from research sources for use as sales leads.
• Perform daily sales tasks to meet or exceed sales goals.
