Job summary

Ben E. Keith Company is seeking a Distributor Sales Representative – Outside in Manhattan, KS to drive food service sales and build strong customer relationships.

You will travel to customers’ places of business in your territory, identify prospective restaurants from research, and perform daily sales tasks to meet and surpass sales goals. Ideal candidates will have a Marketing degree or equivalent sales experience, 3+ years in food service sales, and proficiency with Word and Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or equivalent sales experience.
• 3+ years of food service sales to restaurants.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to learn internal applications.
• Ability to calculate sales figures, commissions, and discounts.
• Valid driver’s license with limited moving violations.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customers' businesses in assigned territory to maintain products and supplies.
• Compile prospective customers from research sources for sales leads.
• Perform daily sales tasks to meet or exceed sales goals.
