Job summary

Southern Hardwood and Floor Supply is seeking an outside sales representative to develop and maintain relationships with builders, remodelers, and flooring contractors in the Richmond and Williamsburg/Hampton Roads Central Virginia territory. You will identify new business opportunities, promote our flooring products, provide sales support, and drive sales growth.

Travel within the Central Virginia region will be required to service customers and secure new accounts.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of proven outside sales experience, preferably in flooring, building materials, or construction.
• Success in establishing new business and expanding existing accounts.
• Ability to travel within Central Virginia as needed.

Responsibilities

• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, and networking.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure loyalty and satisfaction.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate order processing and prompt delivery.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
