Job summary

Employbridge is seeking a Sales Representative to drive growth and profitability of tile product lines within retailer and dealer networks across an assigned territory in Virginia. The role emphasizes field sales, relationship building, product training, and delivering value to customers.

The position requires heavy travel—up to 90% with most trips local and occasional overnights—and follows a 4 days in the field / 1 day in the office pattern, with standard hours 8am–5pm on weekdays and

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Previous sales experience is a plus.
• Industry experience is beneficial but not required.
• Strong math skills for discounts, terms, commissions, and ROI.
• Self-motivated and results-driven with ability to work independently or in a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM platforms preferred.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiations skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with customers within designated territories to drive sales of flooring and countertop products.
• Provide product knowledge and training to store personnel for effective presentations and negotiations.
• Understand products, market competition, and sales strategies to position products advantageously.
• Manage displays, samples, and selling tools for customer availability.
• Quote prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales contracts for orders.
• Estimate delivery dates based on schedules and coordinate with customers.
• Analyze sales reports to identify opportunities with current and potential customers.
• Utilize catalogs, brochures, and vendor collateral to expand territory reach.
• Research and analyze customer needs and market trends to understand demand.
• Resolve customer claims related to deliveries, returns, and credits.
• Attend trade shows as required and travel up to 90% (mostly local with occasional overnights).
• Perform additional duties as required.
