Job summary

Copper State Bolt & Nut Co. is seeking a motivated Outside Sales Representative to grow our Austin/Round Rock/Hutto territory.

You will build relationships with manufacturers, contractors, fabricators and other industrial customers, expanding the revenue base across a broad product range. This position emphasizes face-to-face engagement, prospecting and new business development, with a competitive base salary plus performance bonuses and strong company support from Inside Sales, Operations and

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Outside Sales or related sales experience.
• Industrial, manufacturing, MRO or related product experience is a plus.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel within territory.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities throughout your territory.
• Make regular customer visits, jobsite visits and prospecting calls.
• Grow sales and gross margin within assigned accounts.
• Recommend products and solutions based on customer needs.
• Prepare quotes, bids and proposals and follow opportunities through the sales cycle.
• Promote Copper State's extensive product offering and value-added solutions.
• Partner with Inside Sales, Operations, Purchasing and Branch Leadership to support customers.
• Monitor customer needs, market trends and competitive activity.
• Maintain accurate customer and sales activity information in company systems.
• Participate in sales meetings, product training, trade shows and industry events.
