Job summary

Copper State Bolt & Nut Co. is seeking an energetic Outside Sales Representative for the Phoenix metro area. This territory-based role involves face-to-face customer engagement, identifying new opportunities and delivering tailored fastener and industrial solutions.

You’ll travel within the territory, build long-term client relationships and work with Inside Sales, Operations and leadership to meet sales targets. A base salary plus performance bonus accompanies this position.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Outside Sales, Territory Sales, Account Management or related sales experience preferred.
• Industrial, manufacturing, construction, MRO, fastener, safety or related product experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to develop new business and grow customer relationships.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and problem-solving skills.

Outside Sales Representative – Phoenix metro area

Copper State Bolt & Nut Co. is looking for a motivated, relationship-driven Outside Sales Representative to develop and grow business throughout the assigned area.

This is a territory-based outside sales position for someone who enjoys being in front of customers, developing relationships, finding new business opportunities, and helping industrial customers solve problems.

You will not be sitting behind a desk all day. You'll spend your time building relationships with manufacturers, contractors, fabricators, maintenance teams, OEMs and other industrial customers throughout your territory.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities throughout your territory.
• Make regular customer visits, jobsite visits and prospecting calls.
• Grow sales and gross margin within assigned accounts.
• Recommend products and solutions based on customer needs.
• Prepare quotes, bids and proposals and follow opportunities through the sales cycle.
• Promote Copper State's extensive product offering and value-added solutions.
• Partner with Inside Sales, Operations, Purchasing and Branch Leadership to support customers.
• Monitor customer needs, market trends and competitive activity.
• Maintain accurate customer and sales activity information in company systems.
• Participate in sales meetings, product training, trade shows and industry events.

Qualifications
