Job summary

J&W Instruments, a Distributor and Service organization, is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative with working knowledge of process instrumentation in food, energy, oil and gas industries and a strong technical background to specify products and troubleshoot for customers.

You will call on existing accounts, grow the territory with new clients, develop sales proposals and presentations, and prepare quotes to close deals, all while delivering a best-in-class customer experience.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of Outside Sales Experience, preferably in the Process Instrumentation Field.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and growth goals.
• Experience using a CRM/ERP (P21) system to track progress from lead to close.
• Industrial sales or electrical controls background is required.

Responsibilities

• Must excel at finding and developing new leads within your territory
• Visit customers onsite to understand problems and propose solutions
• Work with customers so they understand how the products work for their process
• Get quotes to customers in a timely matter
