Job summary

Florida Tile Inc. in Lexington, KY is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to promote and specify our products to contractors, builders, dealers, architects, designers, and other industry pros.

You will develop relationships, identify market opportunities, and serve as a trusted business consultant within the assigned territory. The role includes merchandising, technical product knowledge, market trend monitoring, and helping customers achieve sales success and market growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of direct sales experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred.
• Strong communication and computer skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently throughout the territory.
• Ability to develop and execute annual business plans.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with builders, contractors, dealers, architects, designers, and other target customers.
• Meet and exceed monthly sales goals to support annual revenue objectives.
• Set up, maintain, and update product displays as needed.
• Launch new products and company programs within the territory.
• Monitor competitor products, pricing, and strategies, and communicate insights to branch leadership.
• Identify, prospect, qualify, and establish new customer accounts.
• Address and resolve product-related concerns per company guidelines.
• Utilize SAP and maintain inventory knowledge.
• Coordinate with branch management to ensure adequate product sample inventory.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
