Job summary

Cowtown Materials, Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales professional to provide product knowledge for drywall, insulation, metal studs, ceiling systems, and related building materials at our San Antonio location in Texas. The role focuses on accurate order entry, customer service, and collaboration with sales teams.

You will develop product knowledge, build relationships with customers, and support sales strategies while handling routine orders and inquiries with professionalism.

Qualifications

• Must be a team player with attention to detail and good organizational skills.
• Industry/product knowledge a plus.
• 1-2 years of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Taking orders at the sales counter and over the phone.
• Building relationships with customers.
• Enter orders in the company computer system.
• Complete sales orders and tender cash sales.
• Develop product knowledge to assist customers with purchases.
• Collaborate with Outside Sales Reps and Sales Managers on strategies.
• Overcome objections of prospective customers.
• Quote prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales order forms/reports.
