Job summary

Gordon Food Service is seeking an Outside Food Sales Representative to cultivate relationships, develop new business, and provide innovative solutions for customers in the Marquette/Upper Peninsula region.

You will manage sales territory, balance new customer acquisition with strengthening existing accounts, and participate in training to leverage our tools and resources for customer success. A strong service mindset and drive to grow revenue are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• Bachelor’s degree and/or culinary certificate preferred.
• 1 year of prior sales, business, or food service experience.
• Maintaining a valid state driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Ability to obtain your food safety certification.

Responsibilities

• Sell and manage overall sales for existing and prospective customers within your territory.
• Pursue new customers and develop sales strategies to grow revenue.
• Deepen relationships through customer visits and periodic business reviews.
• Coordinate territory visits and communicate order status and updates to customers.
