Gordon Food Service is seeking an Outside Food Sales Representative to manage the sales and relationships for existing and prospective customers in a defined territory. The role focuses on pursuing new customers, deepening relationships, and territory management using Gordon Food Service tools and training.

You will participate in comprehensive training during your first 90 days, learning systems, products, sales processes, and relationship-building strategies within a vast network of resources.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree and/or culinary certificate preferred.
• 1 year of prior sales, business, or food service experience.
• Maintaining a valid state driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Ability to obtain your food safety certification.

Responsabilités

• Pursuing New Customers.
• Researching industry and market trends impacting restaurants within your territory.
• Identifying and researching prospective customers within your territory.
• Developing sales strategies that highlight Gordon Food Service offerings to prospective customers.
• Deepen and Strengthen Existing Customer Relationships.
• Visiting customers within the assigned territory on a regular basis.
• Conducting business reviews to identify needs and growth opportunities.
• Providing ongoing training to customers on products offered.
• Identifying growth opportunities within existing customers' businesses.
