Job summary

Gordon Food Service in Boynton Beach, FL is seeking an Outside Food Sales Representative to grow our restaurant customer base and deepen relationships. You will pursue new accounts, present our value proposition, and coordinate sales efforts across your territory.

You will participate in training, manage territory visits, and collaborate with support teams to deliver solutions, drive revenue, and ensure customer success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Bachelor's degree and/or culinary certificate preferred.
• 1 year of prior sales, business, or food service experience.
• Valid state driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Ability to obtain food safety certification.

Responsibilities

• Researching industry and market trends impacting restaurants within territory.
• Identifying and researching prospective customers within territory.
• Developing sales strategies and presenting the sales strategy to prospective customers.
• Visiting all customers within the assigned territory on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis.
• Conducting business reviews to determine existing customers' needs and opportunities for growing sales and providing ongoing training on Gordon Food Service products.
• Coordinating visits to prospective and existing customers and communicating order status.
