Vermeer All Roads in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Outside Equipment Sales Rep to drive growth for Vermeer Core/Compact equipment. You will haul demo units and conduct on-site demonstrations, building relationships and expanding market share in the region.

This full-time role offers base salary plus commission targeting $100k+, plus a company truck, fuel card, laptop, and cell phone. Expect a flexible schedule with no nights or weekends and regular travel to customer sites.

Qualifications

• 21+ years old
• Valid driver’s license with clean, insurable driving record
• Ability to obtain DOT medical card
• Previous outside sales experience (heavy equipment preferred)
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently

Responsibilities

• Prospect for new business and manage account activity within assigned territory
• Own the full sales cycle: prospecting → demos → proposals → close
• Load, transport, and operate compact equipment for customer demos
• Sell and rent new/used compact lines: brush chippers, stump cutters, mini skid steers, trenchers, attachments
• Identify customer needs; monitor market conditions and competitor pricing
• Track pipeline and activities in CRM (Salesforce)
• Manage key accounts (owners, managers, field personnel) and provide exceptional pre/post-sale support
• Work independently and travel to customer sites daily
