Job summary

All Roads in Medina is seeking an Outside Equipment Sales Rep to drive Vermeer Core/Compact equipment sales. You will prospect, demo on customer sites, haul/demo units, and close deals while building long-term relationships.

This role offers a base salary of $40,000–$60,000 plus commissions, a company truck, and a comprehensive benefits package. You will travel daily, load and operate equipment for demos, and manage key accounts across the territory.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Valid driver’s license with clean, insurable driving record.
• Ability to obtain DOT medical card.
• Previous outside sales experience, heavy equipment preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for new business and manage account activity within assigned territory.
• Own the full sales cycle: prospecting → demos → proposals → close.
• Load, transport, and operate compact equipment for customer demos.
• Sell and rent new/used compact lines: brush chippers, stump cutters, mini skid steers, trenchers, attachments.
• Identify customer needs; monitor market conditions and competitor pricing.
• Track pipeline and activities in CRM (Salesforce).
• Manage key accounts and provide exceptional pre/post-sale support.
• Work independently and travel to customer sites daily.

Description

Are you a self-starter who loves prospecting and winning new business? We’re hiring a hunter-minded Outside Equipment Sales Rep to sell Vermeer Core/Compact equipment (mini skids, chippers, trenchers, etc.). This hands-on role “tows and shows” — you’ll haul demo units and run on-site demonstrations at customer locations to showcase capabilities, build relationships, and grow market share.

Compensation & Schedule

• Base salary: $40,000–$60,000 + commission
• Company truck, fuel card, laptop, and cell phone provided
• Flexible schedule — no nights or weekends
