Vermeer All Roads in Charlotte, NC is seeking a hunter-minded Outside Equipment Sales Rep to sell Vermeer Core/Compact equipment. This hands-on role involves towing and showing demo units at customer sites to build relationships and grow market share.

You will manage the full sales cycle with a base plus commission, benefit from a company truck, and enjoy a flexible schedule with no nights or weekends. Travel to customer locations daily is required.

Qualifications

• Outside sales experience with heavy equipment preferred.
• Strong prospecting and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close.
• Proven communication, organization and time-management abilities.
• Willingness to load and operate equipment for demos.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for new business and manage account activity within territory.
• Own the full sales cycle: prospecting → demos → proposals → close.
• Load, transport, and operate compact equipment for customer demos.
• Sell and rent new/used compact lines: brush chippers, stump cutters, mini skid steers, trenchers, attachments.
• Identify customer needs; monitor market conditions and competitor pricing.
• Track pipeline and activities in CRM (Salesforce).
• Manage key accounts and provide pre/post-sale support.
• Work independently and travel to customer sites daily.
