Job summary

Schindler is seeking a Territory Operations Manager for the Modernization portfolio in California. The role focuses on leading modernization activities, managing the regional budget, and partnering with sales to drive acquisitions and recoveries within the geographic span.

You will mentor Field Superintendents and Project Managers, oversee manpower planning, and coordinate with product line experts on operational challenges, safety, and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or technical leadership experience in the elevator industry.
• 5-7 years in various assignments within the Company, in the Elevator industry, or in another service-oriented
• Ability to understand financial statements; legal awareness to contract terms and conditions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a business plan supporting the territory’s financial and non-financial objectives and manage the territory modernization operations budget.
• Build and maintain strong commercial relationships with key customers and influential consultants.
• Mentor and lead a team of modernization-focused field staff and project managers, hiring and onboarding new leaders.
• Provide training and performance management to field teams; ensure productivity, safety, and profitability targets.
• Coordinate safety responsibilities with Field Quality Excellence and ensure compliance with training and testing.
