Job summary

W.B. Mason is seeking a full-time Market Development Specialist to grow our outside sales footprint in the Portland area. You’ll visit local businesses, present our range of workplace products, and build lasting client relationships.

You’ll demo products, offer pricing, and assist new customers with MasonvilleGO. The role collaborates with inside sales and onboarding to ensure a smooth handoff and continued growth opportunities in a dynamic culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, retail sales, etc.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Ability to converse, read, and write in English.
• Bachelor's Degree (BS or BA) from a four-year college (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Hitting the road to explore the assigned territory and introduce local businesses to W.B. Mason.
• Meet with potential clients, uncover needs, and show our products and services.
• Demo products, share web tools, offer custom pricing, and help new customers get set up.
• Collaborate with inside sales and onboarding teams to ensure smooth transitions.
• Attend regular branch sales meetings to stay connected and supported.
