Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Territory Manager for Southern New Jersey to build and nurture customer relationships, drive sales, and grow the territory. The role focuses on educating customers on ordering platforms, presenting pricing strategies, and expanding new business in a team-based selling environment.

You will collaborate across marketing, supply chain and customer service to ensure accurate, timely delivery while developing market opportunities and managing daily field activities.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of sales experience preferred.
• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Foodservice/culinary/restaurant/hospitality experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to build internal and external relationships and develop new business.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Competitive spirit with a drive to exceed goals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Salesforce or CRM tools a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Own and nurture customer relationships in a team-based selling model.
• Educate customers on ordering platforms and provide menu recommendations and pricing strategies.
• Drive sales by increasing case growth and acquiring new business.
• Deliver compelling sales presentations and tailor the approach to each customer.
• Collaborate with specialists, marketing, supply chain and customer service to ensure on-time delivery.
• Identify new business using market data and leads from existing clients.
• Manage deliveries per routing schedules and resolve order issues.
