Job summary

BD Peripheral Intervention is seeking a Territory Manager to represent our product line in a designated geographic area. You will drive sales, perform product in-services, plan efficient sales calls, and stay current on clinical data to support customers.

Responsibilities include communicating pricing, policies, and backorder information; solving customer issues; and maintaining company assets while meeting targets and reporting activity to the Regional Manager. Travel is required as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Management or related area preferred.
• Two to three years outside sales experience or equivalent.
• Demonstrated human relation and communication skills.
• Product knowledge of BD Peripheral Intervention products and benefits.
• Surgical procedure knowledge and basic anatomy are a plus.
• Thorough understanding of needs/analysis selling.

Responsibilities

• Sells the entire product line to current and new accounts.
• Informs customers of pricing, backorders, and company policies.
• Executes comprehensive in-service of products to all concerned individuals.
• Plans sales calls on a continuous basis and manages time effectively.
• Develops knowledge of all products and clinical data.
• Informs Regional Manager of market changes and competitive activity.
• Addresses customer complaints and seeks prompt, satisfactory resolutions.
• Analyzes customer needs and creates solutions.
• Maintains company automobile and company property.
• Completes BD Peripheral Intervention reports per procedures and policies.
