4Rivers Equipment in El Paso, TX is hiring a Territory Manager / Outside Sales to grow market share for construction and forestry equipment. You will build long-term customer relationships, identify new opportunities, and present quotes and financing options across your assigned territory.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in sales or related equipment industries, strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work independently.

As a Territory Manager / Outside Sales Representative, you'll be responsible for growing market share, building long-term customer relationships, and delivering equipment solutions that help our customers thrive. You will represent industry-leading John Deere Construction & Forestry equipment while partnering with customers across your assigned territory.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Identify new business opportunities and actively grow your assigned territory.
• Generate sales of new and used construction equipment, attachments, and related solutions.
• Utilize CRM tools to manage customer interactions, sales activities, opportunities, and follow-up plans.
• Prepare and present equipment quotes, proposals, and financing options.
• Conduct equipment appraisals for trade-ins and inventory acquisition opportunities.
• Maintain an active pipeline of opportunities and communicate sales activity to leadership.
• Support customers throughout the sales process, ensuring a positive ownership experience.
• Assist with collection efforts when necessary.
• Stay informed on industry trends, competitive products, and John Deere equipment offerings.
• Represent 4Rivers Equipment with professionalism and integrity in every customer interaction.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college education preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of sales experience or applicable construction, agriculture, or equipment industry experience.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage priorities.
• Basic computer proficiency and experience using CRM systems preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
• Professional presence and a commitment to exceptional customer service.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Regular travel throughout an assigned territory.
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to navigate construction jobsites and customer locations.
• Ability to safely operate vehicles and equipment as required.
• May require lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 75 pounds.
• May require obtaining or maintaining a Commercial Driver License (CDL).
