Job summary

Shockwave Medical Inc. in Chicago, IL is seeking a Territory Manager to drive growth in hospital settings, focusing on cardiovascular procedures and catheter-lab case support.

You will prospect, educate physicians and hospital staff, and own a territory with revenue objectives. Ideal candidates have 2+ years as a hospital-based territory manager in life sciences, a valid driver’s license, and proven ability to meet quarterly and annual sales goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years’ territory manager experience in hospital-based life sciences (cardiovascular preferred).
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to promote Shockwave products to hospital personnel and physicians.
• Meet with physicians and hospital staff to determine customer needs, goals, product usage, and case types.
• Educate customers on products and proper clinical usage by delivering presentations and demonstrations.
• Attend procedures in hospital operating rooms and advise on product usage and physician needs.
• Achieve sales/revenue objectives for the territory to meet quota.
• Collaborate with Clinical, Field Clinical Reps, Marketing, R&D and other units to identify selling opportunities.
• Conduct consultative sales calls with Interventional Cardiologists and Vascular Surgeons.
• Build and maintain solid customer relationships and demonstrate product knowledge to physicians.
