Job summary

Berkley Management Protection in North Carolina seeks a Territory Manager to be the marketing focal point for the state. You will coordinate resources, drive growth in private company management liability, and partner with agents and underwriting to deliver results.

This external-facing role requires strong negotiation, sales and relationship-building skills, with travel around 60%—face-to-face meetings preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years insurance marketing experience.
• Four-year college degree or equivalent.
• Strong negotiation and sales skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Willing to travel 60% in assigned territory.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Grow the private company management liability lines in the assigned territory.
• Coordinate with AVP to implement a sales culture and growth strategies.
• Establish relationships with agents to drive mutually beneficial results.
• Manage distribution and negotiate agency appointment agreements.
• Collaborate with underwriting to develop regional and national strategies.
• Travel to meet clients and agencies; face-to-face meetings preferred.
