Qualifications

• Sales and commercial underwriting experience in a Property & Casualty company, or related degree.
• Experience working with Independent Insurance Agents.

Responsibilities

• Create strategic marketing plans for the territory to identify opportunities and challenges, including plans to hit budgeted premium and policy counts.
• Drive submission activity in desired classes and verticals to meet budget targets.
• Use PowerBI Submission and Comparative Rater data to understand results and influence agency quote behavior.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with Agents, Regional Underwriting and Claims teams, and Home Office departments.
• Communicate premium/submission/profit goals to agents and coordinate action plans for key agency partners.
• Provide ongoing training to agency personnel on programs, products, services, and systems.
• Monitor general insurance market and trends that affect the territory agency plant.
