Job summary

Shaw Industries Group, Inc. is seeking a Territory Manager for Hard Surface Flooring to grow market share in Central Indiana (Indianapolis, Carmel, Fishers, Muncie, Anderson IN).

You will cultivate relationships with flooring dealers, designers and end-users while promoting Shaw Floors, Anderson Tuftex and Philly Commercial. Daily field activity includes sales calls, product presentations, sample handling, and accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or GED with 1 year of sales experience.
• Must reside in the Central Indiana market.
• Ability to travel in a vehicle to transport product samples.
• Ability to lift samples and build displays up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule, including some evenings.
• Experience with a laptop and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Daily sales calls on existing customers with emphasis on hard surface products and displays.
• Present products to retail dealers, designers, and end-users; analyze leads from corporate.
• Sell and construct display racks weighing 50 lbs or more.
• Continually prospect for new accounts while covering the Central Indiana area.
• Prepare reports of business transactions and sales; track volumes and goals.
• Communicate periodic sales reports; assess market conditions and product needs.
• Analyze sales statistics using territory reports to guide goals and dealer support.
• Enter all customer interactions into Salesforce.com.
• Educate customers on Shaw residential products (Shaw Floors, Anderson Tuftex, Philly Commercial).
