Job summary

Shaw Industries Group, Inc. is seeking a Territory Manager for Hard Surface Flooring to cover the Central Indiana market, including Indianapolis, Carmel, Fishers, Muncie and surrounding areas.

You will build relationships with flooring dealers, designers and end-users, drive product sales and manage in-territory displays and samples. The role requires daily customer visits, the ability to lift 50 lbs, and a willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or GED and 1 year of sales experience required.
• Must reside in the market.
• Ability to travel in a vehicle that can carry product sample boards requiring a van or approved SUV.
• Must be able to lift samples up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Flexible schedule including some evenings.
• Proven experience using a laptop and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Make daily sales calls on existing customers with emphasis on hard surface flooring products, samples and displays.
• Present products to retailers, designers, and end-users; analyze leads from corporate reports.
• Sell and construct display racks weighing 50 pounds or more.
• Prospect for new accounts within the designated geographic area.
• Prepare business and sales reports; communicate goals and market needs.
• Analyze sales statistics and territory data to help dealers grow sales.
• Manage travel and sample budgets within budget constraints.
• Enter customer interactions into Salesforce.com.
