Job summary

Banner Fire Equipment, Inc. is looking for a driven Territory Manager – Equipment Sales to grow our fire and rescue equipment business with fire departments, municipalities, and emergency responders across Chicagoland and Central Illinois.

This field-based role requires you to live in or near your territory, with travel to Roxana, IL as needed. You will build relationships, drive territory growth, and manage the full sales cycle, including quotes, bids, and order coordination.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Fire Science, or related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
• 3+ years of experience in field or territory sales, account management, or selling technical products or equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain long‑term relationships with fire departments and municipalities in your territory.
• Drive territory growth through prospecting, networking, referrals, and customer visits.
• Be a trusted resource by visiting stations, demonstrating products, and responding to quotes and orders.
• Support large equipment projects and grant‑funded purchases.
• Sell a broad line of fire and rescue equipment and related accessories.
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to post‑sale follow‑up.
• Prepare accurate quotes, proposals, and bids; maintain pipeline records.
• Coordinate with service, operations, and internal teams to ensure order fulfillment.
