Job summary

Shaw Industries Group, Inc. seeks a Territory Manager for Carpet Soft Surface Flooring to grow Shaw’s profitability and market share in the Springfield MO area.

Build strong relationships with flooring dealer customers based on knowledge and service, while executing major market programs and sample placement. The role covers daily sales calls, product presentations to dealers/designers, and reporting via Salesforce.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or GED with 1 year of sales experience.
• MS Office proficiency and laptop use.
• Completion of Shaw sales trainee program can substitute for experience.
• Must reside in the market and be able to travel by vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Make daily sales calls on existing customers to sell hard surface flooring products and related items.
• Present products to retailers, designers and end-users and analyze leads from corporate reports.
• Enter all customer interactions and key information into Salesforce.com.
• Prepare reports of business transactions, sales volume and territory performance.
