Job summary

Shaw Industries Group, Inc. in Dalton, GA is seeking a Territory Manager for Carpet Soft Surface Flooring to grow profitability and market share within the assigned geographic area. You will build relationships with flooring dealer customers, present Shaw products to dealers and end-users, and manage travel and sample budgets.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, travel ability, and a flexible schedule. Experience with Salesforce.com and MS Office is preferred.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required with some sales experience.
Must reside in the market and be able to travel.
Ability to lift sample boards up to 50 pounds regularly.
Proven ability to work a flexible schedule including some evenings.

Responsibilities

Daily sales calls on existing customers with emphasis on hard surface flooring products.
Present Shaw products to dealers, designers and end-users and analyze leads.
Sell and construct display racks weighing 50lbs or more regularly.
Prospect for new accounts while understanding market dynamics in territory.
Prepare business transaction reports and sales volume forecasts.
Communicate periodic sales reports and product needs to management.
Analyze sales statistics using territory reports to set goals.
Enter customer interactions into Salesforce.com and promote all residential products.
