Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc. is seeking a Solutions Specialist to connect clients with tailored logistics solutions. You will perform business-to-business sales, strategic planning, and problem-solving while fostering lasting partnerships in a fast-paced environment.

In this full-time role, you will travel within your assigned territory, meet customers in person, and coordinate with operations to exceed expectations. A valid driver’s license and a track record in B2B sales are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years B2B sales experience or equivalent.
• Proven ability to build lasting customer relationships.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Travel within assigned territory to meet customers in person and cultivate relationships with traffic personnel, purchasing agents, and executives.
• Inform customers of new service points and improvements in OD service.
• Assist customers with rate agreements and coordinate pricing requests.
• Monitor major accounts to ensure On-Time service delivery and high customer satisfaction.
• Prepare monthly activity reports to identify business opportunities and trends.
• Provide rate information and changes to customers and coordinate itineraries weekly.
