Job summary

Mettler Toledo is seeking a field-based sales professional to drive revenue growth across Rainin pipettes, tips, and calibration services. The role emphasizes developing territory plans, qualifying opportunities, and building strong customer relationships.

Ideal candidates bring a life sciences background with 2+ years in lab or customer-facing scientific sales, strong CRM and MS Office skills, and willingness to travel ~30% within the territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Life Sciences or related scientific discipline preferred.
• Minimum two (2) years of laboratory experience and/or customer-facing scientific sales experience preferred.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute territory business plans to drive new customer acquisition and market penetration.
• Identify, qualify, and advance sales opportunities through prospecting and consultative selling.
• Build and maintain relationships with laboratory end users, scientists, and procurement professionals.
• Manage territory activities through pipeline management and CRM compliance.
• Demonstrate value of Rainin products through meetings, demonstrations, and technical discussions.
• Collaborate with Sales Management, Marketing, Service and Operations to support customer success.
