Rainin Territory Sales Representative with Mettler-Toledo, Inc. in San Diego, CA is responsible for driving profitable revenue growth of Rainin pipettes and services within a defined territory.

Responsibilities include developing territory plans, acquiring new customers, expanding existing accounts, and presenting value-based laboratory solutions to scientists and procurement professionals. Travel about 30% and collaboration with internal teams are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field.
• Minimum two years of laboratory or sales experience.
• Basic laboratory knowledge; life science research experience preferred.
• Strong ability to develop opportunities and close deals.
• Excellent territory planning, organization, and communication.
• CRM proficiency and MS Office skills.
• Willingness to travel ~30% in territory.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue growth by meeting sales objectives for Rainin products and services.
• Develop and execute territory plans to acquire new customers and expand accounts.
• Identify, qualify, and advance opportunities through prospecting and consultative selling.
• Build relationships with laboratory end users, scientists, and procurement.
• Maintain pipeline, CRM compliance, and business planning.
• Demonstrate Rainin value via meetings, demos, and trainings.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Service, and Operations to support success.
• Monitor market trends and competition to identify growth opportunities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
