Job summary

Arlington/Roe, a family-owned property/casualty wholesaler and managing general agency since 1964, seeks a Sales & Marketing Manager in our Marketing department. The role focuses on increasing agents' awareness of our Personal Lines, Commercial Lines, and other offerings, with emphasis on educating agents across MN.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required; 5+ years P&C insurance experience and willingness to travel the territory are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Property and Casualty insurance experience preferred.
• Ability to travel around the territory.
• Great customer service and willing to make phone calls.
• Willing to educate agencies on Arlington/Roe’s other department offerings.
• Excess and Surplus Lines experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop growth plans for MN with the underwriting team.
• Maintain relationships with MN agents via visits, calls and email.
• Onboard new MN agency partners.
• Provide agency training on systems, products and procedures.
• Develop tiers of agents and identify high-potential partners for growth.
• Create strategies to increase new business production and hit ratios.
• Travel with MN underwriting team to meetings and visits.
• Coordinate with leadership to maintain growth opportunities in MN.
• Engage with carriers and trade groups to raise Arlington/Roe's presence.
• Assist with agency management projects and collections as needed.
