Job summary

Arlington/Roe is seeking a Sales & Marketing Manager in Minnesota to lead agent education efforts and expand market presence. The role focuses on increasing agents’ awareness of Arlington/Roe’s Personal Lines, Commercial Lines, and Professional Liability products while collaborating with underwriting leadership across MN.

The position requires 5+ years of P&C experience, strong customer service, and willingness to travel statewide.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Property and Casualty insurance experience preferred.
• Ability to travel around the territory.
• Great customer service and willing to make phone calls.
• Must be willing to increase agent’s awareness and knowledge of Arlington/Roe’s various areas including Personal Lines, Commercial Lines binding authority products, and Professional Liability products.
• Excess and Surplus Lines experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Working with MN underwriting team to develop future growth plans for the state.
• Initiating and maintaining relationships with MN agents through visits, calls, and email while tracking production.
• Appointing and onboarding new agency partners for MN.
• Providing agency training for company online systems, products, and procedures.
• Developing tiers of agents and identifying high-potential partners for quarterly outreach.
• Creating strategies to increase new business production and hit ratios.
• Traveling with the MN underwriting team for association meetings and agency visits.
• Serving as a liaison to the MN underwriting team and production leadership for ongoing growth opportunities.
• Involvement with Arlington/Roe core carriers and trade associations to raise brand presence in MN.
• Assisting agency management projects and handling agency collection issues as needed.
