Job summary

Chubb Insurance in Tulsa seeks a Business Development Manager focused on growing relationships with brokers, agents, and distribution partners for Small Commercial, Middle Market, and Financial Lines. The role reports to the VP, Regional Business Development, and the Tulsa Branch Manager.

The BDM will manage agency relationships, drive new client acquisition, and coordinate with underwriting to position Chubb products competitively while achieving key performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of calling on insurance brokers and agents within a predetermined territory/geography.
• Develops tactical sales plans designed to achieve annual objectives and revenue growth.
• Builds and maintains focus on broker relationships to drive client acquisition and retention.
• Collaborates with underwriting and field leadership to position products competitively.

Responsibilities

• Successful and documented track record of calling on insurance brokers and agents within a predetermined territory/geography.
• Develops tactical sales plan designed to achieve annual objectives, including market share, new agency appointments, and revenue growth.
• Generates opportunities to acquire new business through activities with assigned brokers and agents.
• Builds relationships with key partnerships locally and regionally to support business development.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual production goals.
• Works closely with commercial underwriting staff and local field operations leadership.
• Ensures products/services are competitively positioned in the market.
• Manages pipeline of key customers to meet growth goals and objectives.
• Serves as point of contact and relationship manager for assigned producers.
• Effectively manages daily, weekly, and monthly goals and tracking responsibilities.
• Works with underwriting to evaluate, price and propose rate and strategy for accounts.
• Manages workload to meet internal productivity and timely service standards.
