Job summary

Horace Mann - Agent Opportunities is seeking a Territory Development Specialist to expand sales within a designated territory, focusing on educators and public sector clients. You will build relationships with existing customers and cultivate new opportunities without cold-calling, leveraging a protected territory and community partnerships.

Ideal candidates will have B2B sales experience, strong communication skills, and a Life & Health license (which can be obtained during onboarding).

Qualifications

• Life & Health license is required, but can be obtained during on-boarding.
• B2B sales experience strongly desired.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and conduct group and individual meetings within the established client base
• Identify and solicit new business prospects in the assigned territory for growth
• Act as a primary contact for existing and potential customers
• Make initial and follow-up sales calls to current and prospective clients
• Identify customer needs and recommend product solutions
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities
