Job summary

Horace Mann is seeking a Territory Development Specialist to grow our client base across the assigned Wisconsin territory. You will schedule and conduct meetings, identify prospects, and be the primary contact for customers, delivering product solutions and maintaining accurate activity records.

Ideal candidates possess sales experience (B2B preferred), strong communication skills, a self-motivated, results-driven mindset, and a current life & health insurance license or the ability to obtain

Qualifications

• Sales experience required; B2B is strongly desired.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Life & Health insurance license is required, but can be obtained during onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and conduct group and individual meetings within the established client base.
• Identify and solicit new business prospects in the assigned territory for new account growth.
• Act as a point of contact for existing and potential customers.
• Perform initial and follow-up sales calls on prospective and current clients.
• Identify customer needs and recommend product solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities.
