Job summary

Horace Mann is seeking a Territory Development Specialist to expand our educator-focused client base within a defined region. You will schedule meetings, identify new prospects, and serve as the primary contact for clients, driving growth and ensuring exceptional service.

Leverage your B2B sales experience and strong communication to identify needs, propose solutions, and maintain accurate activity records. Licensing in Life & Health insurance is required or can be obtained during onboarding.

Qualifications

• Sales experience required; B2B sales strongly desired.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Life & Health insurance license required, but can be obtained during onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and conduct group and individual meetings within the established client base.
• Identify and solicit new business prospects in the assigned territory for new account growth.
• Act as a point of contact for existing and potential customers.
• Perform initial and follow-up sales calls on prospective and current clients.
• Identify customer needs and recommend product solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities.
