Job summary

Apex Tool Group is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to drive sales in the North-East markets, including the New Jersey area. The role focuses on cultivating Distributor and End User partnerships, leveraging value selling, and expanding Apex Tool Group brands across the territory.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of proven sales success in industrial or OEM markets, a Bachelor's degree in business or related field, and willingness to travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of demonstrated successful track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals in industrial/manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge and experience in demand creation processes at end-user level.
• Experience using value-based selling to drive sales and customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers in assigned territory to generate new business and achieve sales goals.
• Leverage value selling techniques to understand customer needs and identify viable solutions.
• Develop pull-through sales & marketing campaigns for Key Distributors.
• Maintain excellent product knowledge to present the entire product line and demonstrate technical knowledge.
• Develop an end-user funnel to target large scale conversions to Apex Tool Group brands.
• Identify opportunities for sales process improvements based on territory feedback and competitive actions.
• Collaborate with internal support functions (marketing, product development, operations, customer service).
• Travel up to 50%.
